BRIQS · LEGAL
Privacy Policy
Version 1.0, last updated 5 October 2026
At BRIQS, everything starts with trust. That includes your data. This policy explains which personal data we collect through briqs.capital and in our contact with you, why we do so, who we share it with and what rights you have.
1. Who is responsible?
BRIQS Life Real Estate L.L.C ("BRIQS", "we")
Property Investment Office 4 - S1, Dubai Investment Park First, Dubai, United Arab Emirates
RERA ORN 63990
Email: info@briqs.capital · Phone: +971 52 220 1367
We are the data controller. Because we serve investors in the Netherlands and Belgium, we comply with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) as well as UAE law, including Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 (PDPL).
2. What data do we process?
Contact details: name, email address, phone number, preferred language.
Your request: the topic and message you send via the contact form, email, phone or WhatsApp.
Appointment details: date, time and answers you provide when booking an intake call, and video call details (such as your name and email in Zoom). We do not record calls without your prior consent.
Investor profile: what you share during the intake about your goals, horizon, available capital and preferences, so we can prepare a suitable calculation.
Identification and compliance data: only if you proceed with a purchase: passport or ID, address, proof of source of funds and other documents that anti-money-laundering law requires us to verify.
Technical data: IP address and browser data needed to serve the website securely (see section 8).
Please do not send bank details, ID documents or other sensitive files through the contact form. We will request them later through a secure channel, and only when needed.
3. Why, and on what legal basis?
| PURPOSE | LEGAL BASIS |
|---|---|
| Answering your question and scheduling an intake call | At your request, prior to entering a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) |
| Guiding an investment: calculation, reservation, purchase and aftersale | Performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) |
| Identity and source-of-funds checks (KYC/AML) and record keeping | Legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR), including under UAE anti-money-laundering legislation |
| Newsletter and webinar invitations | Your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time |
| Informing existing clients about similar projects | Legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR), with an unsubscribe link in every message |
| Securing and improving the website | Legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) |
We do not make decisions about you based solely on automated processing, and we do not build profiles for advertising purposes.
4. Who do we share your data with?
We never sell your data. We only share it when needed for the service you ask of us, or when the law requires it:
Property developers and sellers: for a reservation or purchase, to register the transaction in your name.
Aftersale service partners: such as mortgage advisers and banks, lawyers and notaries, company setup providers and property managers. Only if you choose to use their services.
Public authorities: such as the Dubai Land Department, RERA and regulators, where registration or the law requires it.
Service providers processing data on our behalf (processors): Netlify (hosting and contact form), Calendly (scheduling), Zoom (video calls), Google (email, calendar and storage). We have agreements with them on security and confidentiality.
Developers, service partners and authorities are each responsible for how they handle your data. We share no more than necessary.
5. Transfers outside the European Economic Area
BRIQS is based in Dubai. If you contact us from the Netherlands or Belgium, your data is therefore transferred to the UAE. This happens because it is necessary to answer your request and perform our service (Art. 49(1)(b) and (c) GDPR). Some of our service providers process data in the United States. For those transfers we rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
6. How long do we keep your data?
| DATA | RETENTION PERIOD |
|---|---|
| Contact request without follow-up | Up to 24 months after the last contact |
| Client file and transaction data | 5 years after the relationship or transaction ends, or longer where the law requires |
| KYC/AML documents | At least 5 years after the relationship ends, as anti-money-laundering law requires |
| Newsletter | Until you unsubscribe |
| Website statistics | Up to 24 months, anonymised |
7. Newsletter and email
There is currently no newsletter subscription on this website. If BRIQS introduces one, the provider and relevant privacy information will be confirmed before subscription becomes available.
8. Cookies and statistics
We do not use advertising or tracking cookies on this website. No analytics service is currently enabled. Fonts are hosted locally. Should we introduce cookies requiring consent, we will ask for it first and update this policy. The booking calendar opens on Calendly, where Calendly’s own privacy and cookie policies apply.
Links to Instagram, LinkedIn and WhatsApp take you to those platforms, where their own privacy terms apply.
9. Security
We protect your data with appropriate technical and organisational measures: encrypted connections (HTTPS), two-factor authentication on our accounts, access only for those who need it, and processors that demonstrably work securely. If you notice anything that looks like a data breach, please report it immediately to info@briqs.capital.
10. Your rights
You have the right to:
access your data;
have inaccurate data corrected;
have your data erased, unless we are legally required to keep it;
restrict processing;
object to processing based on legitimate interest, and always to direct marketing;
data portability;
withdraw your consent, without affecting processing that took place before.
Send your request to info@briqs.capital. We respond within one month and may ask you to confirm your identity.
11. Complaints
Not satisfied with how we handle your data? Let us know first, and we will resolve it together. You always have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens (autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl), or the supervisory authority in your own country.
12. Minors
Our services are intended for persons aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
13. Changes
We update this policy when our services or the law change. The date at the top shows when this last happened. For significant changes, we inform clients and subscribers by email.
